Doug Davison and I have been working with BackerKit to transfer all of the backer data to a new BackerKit account. The current thinking is that all of the backers will be reset to a single pledge level and their contributions will be added as a credit to that account. The backers will then be able to select their rewards from a number of add-ons. Those add-ons will include Fantasy Grounds licenses, as well as a wide selection of the most popular Fantasy Grounds rulesets and assets. There is a significant intersection of backers who are already Fantasy Grounds users and this will provide a good opportunity to enhance your experience.

Not sure how you’d like to handle the transition? We don’t believe, at this time, that we’ll be required to enforce an arbitrary closing date and you’ll be able to take your time making your decisions.

Given their popularity, it’s likely that a number of you may chose to include the D&D 5e assets as part of your rewards. Those assets, as well as other licenses, still require SmiteWorks to pay royalties to the property holders. I mention this only as an example of commitment that Doug and SmiteWorks have for satisfying and welcoming both new and existing users.

The current version of Tabletop Connect will remain available and the on-line connectivity should continue to function through June 2017.
